Jennifer Hudson’s Nephew Julian King Found Dead

Police searching for the missing nephew of Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson found the body of a young boy on Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Although police have not officially identified the body, it is likely that of Julian King, the son of Hudson’s sister Julia. The boy’s body was found in an SUV police believe is connected to the double homicide of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, in Chicago on Friday.

Jennifer Hudson’s Mother and Brother Found Dead in Family Home

According to The Chicago Tribune a relative of Academy Award-winning actress and singer, Jennifer Hudson has been found shot to death in a Chicago home owned by Darnell Donnerson, Hudson's mother. Without confirming their identities, a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office told reporters that one of the victims was a woman in her 50s who was shot in the head and the other was a 29-year-old man who was shot in the chest. TMZ.com is now reporting that the man and woman in question were Hudson's mother and brother, Jason.

Chicago in Talks for an all LGBT High School

The Windy City could be the next major city to launch an all LGBT high school. About 200 people attended a public hearing on Chicago’s north side Thursday to discuss creating The Social Justice High School—Pride Campus, which would offer college prep classes in a safe environment. Administrators at the meeting said the Pride Campus would be open to all students and would not segregate LGBT students regardless of sexual orientation.

Bernie Mac Death from Pneumonia Shocks Hollywood

Comedian Bernie Mac died this morning from complications of pneumonia, his publicist announced today. Mac was admitted to a Chicago hospital on August 1st with pneumonia and rumors quickly began to circulate that he was in serious condition or was already dead. His publicist denied these rumors throughout the week, saying only that Mac was 'responding well to treatment' and expected to be released soon. Mac’s death was reportedly unrelated to his previous diagnosis of Sarcoidosis disease.

Despite rumors flying around the Web on Monday speculating on whether or not comedian Bernie Mac had died, he is still alive and doing well, according to his publicist. Mac was admitted to a Chicago hospital on Friday to receive treatment for pneumonia. Since his heath condition was first reported, massive rumors have been swirling around the Net about how critically ill he may be—or if he was actually dead.

Comedian Bernie Mac is being treated for pneumonia in a Chicago hospital, his publicist told People.com. Mac, often dubbed the 'King of Comedy,' is reportedly responding well to treatment and is expected to be released from the hospital soon. The comedian and actor was diagnosed in 1993 with sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease, but the disease is currently in remission and was reportedly not the cause of his pneumonia.
